โœ๏ธ Step 1: Toggle On Edit Mode

  • Click the Edit Mode switch at the top right corner of the screen.
    (๐Ÿ“Highlighted in your screenshot โ€” top right green toggle.)

โœ… This will enable interaction with the nodes and edges in the concept graph.


๐Ÿซง Step 2: Open the OIM Mapping Search

  • In the datasetโ€™s concept map, find the node labeled empty (โšช).

  • Double-click on the red-flagged bubble next to it (๐Ÿ“marked as 1)
    โ€” this is the equivalentClass link.

๐Ÿ” A search panel will open where you can explore and assign OIM to match your dataset to existing vocabularies or standards.

โžŠ Select a Query Source

Click the dropdown to choose a predefined property to base your search on.
๐Ÿ“ Example: standard_name
This will automatically fetch related OIM mappings.

โž‹ Or Type a Custom Keyword

Manually enter a search term in the search box to find mappings relevant to your concept.
๐Ÿ“ Use this if the predefined property doesnโ€™t match your intent.

โžŒ Adjust Match Relevance (Top-K)

Use the slider to control how many top-ranked results are shown.
๐Ÿ“ Move right to increase result count, or left to narrow it down.

โž Choose an OIM Mapping

From the search results below, select the most appropriate mapping based on the concept youโ€™re trying to align.
๐Ÿ“ Results include a label and definition (e.g., from the CF Standard).

โžŽ Save the Mapping

Click the โœ… Save button at the bottom right to finalize the mapping.
๐Ÿ“ Your concept is now semantically aligned with a recognized standard.
