🟢 Create New Dataset
Introduce new data sources into the SemanticFlow Knowledge Hub by creating a dataset. This feature enables users to enrich the Body of Knowledge by contributing structured and relevant data to support simulations, analysis, and learning materials.
🔽 Step-by-Step Instructions
✅ Step 1: Click “Add New”

Navigate to the Datasets tab.

Click the green
Add New
button in the top-right corner.
🖱️ This opens the Add new dataset form.
✅ Step 2: Fill in Dataset Details
In the modal form that appears:

Acronym (Required)
-
Enter a short identifier (max 10 characters) for the dataset.

Example:
SST
(Sea Surface Temperature)

Dataset Name (Required)
-
Provide the full name of the dataset.

Example:
Sentinel-3 Type: Land/Sea Surface Products/Land-surface Temperature

Description (Optional but recommended)
-
Add a brief summary of what the dataset contains and its relevance.

Base IRI (Required)
-
Enter the base IRI (Internationalized Resource Identifier).

Must end with

Example:

Remote OPeNDAP Data URL (Required)

Provide a valid remote data link (ending with
.nc
or similar NetCDF-compatible file). -
Example:
http://example.com/data.nc

✅ Step 3: Create the Dataset

Once all fields are filled in correctly, click the green
Create
button. -
To cancel, press the
Cancel
button or theX
in the top-right corner.
